I'd love to receive a Ceph German Giant... a plant I've never had the delight of raising.
For the longest time, we had cut TV cable, as a number of parents opted to garden and have our kids play instead of watching TV. At one time, all the families along our street vowed to cut cable TV so our kids could enjoy the outdoors, and get back to learning about community and nature, beginning at our local urban forest. For over a decade, over a dozen local families held out from subscribing to cable TV... and then, the internet hit. One by one, the families started installing internet and as the children entered high school, we needed the technology... So in the early 2000s, we subscribed to our local internet and cable provider.
Since that time, I must admit i still hadn't watched much TV, then one day, my youngest subscribed me to BBC and Discovery as a father's day gift. I am now an avid fan of Sir David Attenborough's documentaries. My favourites are Life, Planet Earth (I like Planet Earth I more than Planet Earth II), Blue Planet, and Attenborough's Ark. So if I may add my name... thanks
