Was very fortunate to add this one to the growing collection here. ❤️ A generous Canadian enthusiast was dividing some of his Helis up, and ended up sending many divisions to fellow growers across Canada, making a lot of folks very happy, in the process. Here is a link to some of Avery's Helis, before the dividing began. cpnorth.proboards.com/thread/173/heliamphora?page=1This particular clone is reported to be quite slow growing, but the compact pitchers, with the hairy interiors, makes these little chappies well worth the wait. Thanks again Avery! dvg

Nice addition! I love helis, they're so simple in their design but yet so alien too. I tried my hand at a minor and a nutans a long while ago but they didn't survive my inexperience. Maybe someday I'll try again. Good luck, they're fun plants for sure!!

Noticed last night a new pitcher forming on this clone. That in itself is cause for celebration, as it is proof of life, and also because this one has a reputation for being a very slow grower. dvg

Congrats on the new pitcher dvg ! The few little strands of hair on the nectar spoon of the tallest pitcher reminds me of Homer Simpson!

Congrats on the new pitcher dvg ! The few little strands of hair on the nectar spoon of the tallest pitcher reminds me of Homer Simpson! Thanks Ellsie! Homer Simpson, Haha! In the first pic from today above, there is a pair of antennae visible behind the tallest pitcher's nectar spoon. A moment later it flew up and away and appears to be some sort of small parasitic wasp, but aren't they all? dvg

I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me when l thought l saw your pitcher growing "salt and pepper colored hair!"

I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me when l thought l saw your pitcher growing "salt and pepper colored hair!" No, not at all, it is a mature pitcher...even has the grizzled greybeard thing going on there. dvg
