I'm curious to know how this ping's fasciated growth started dvg ? While there are many factors that may cause this rare type of growth in plants, do you find that the fasciated growth in this ping clone is inherited? That's a very good question Ellsie. This clone's parents were not observed to veer away into cristate growth, so not sure anything was inherited in that way from them. But this clone does seem to be more predisposed to entering into cristate growth. These clones have entered into cristate growth here with at least three of the clones, that i have observed. Three dormant bulbs of this clone were also sent to another hobbyist in another province and one of those bulbs has since moved into fasciated growth there. The clones in both locations, here and there, are grown in open air, one group is directly under fluorescent t8 bulbs, while in the other location the clones are situated between the t8s, not directly under them. While there are many triggers for fasciated growth in plants, as you stated, i'm not sure what causes these clones to phase into crested growth, but it is fascinating to observe, while it lasts. dvg
