Starting a new project, because I love cephalotus but couldn't get them to do well in my other terrarium.... Its about a 2.5 gallon tank ( 7 inches tall ) with a full screen top and 6.5 watts of full spectrum LED... The plan is to have a drainage layer made from egg crate light diffuser and fiberglass window screen.... I will have a sloped substrate and hope to grow some kind of moss ( not sphagnum ) in between the ceph's.... Looking for any advice before I get started!!!

Nice! I'd be concerned about how much light is being blocked by the screen, you may want to consider using cling wrap instead, which has a few options to allow for additional ventilation.

Thanks Cole! Looking for your help on this one for sure... What about using the side of a 2L pop bottle or maybe a part of a deli container....? Some kinda plastic like that....? Even part of a grow tray dome?....

No problem. You could go with pretty much anything transparent enough and easy to work with, I've found cling wrap/tape to be the most useful in similar situations.

GOT PLANTS IN!!!! Added the cephalotus couple days ago! They came with a bunch of the moss I wanted too.... I think its looking great so far.... Have been playing with the "vent" (sliding the top open and closed) to get what I think looks like enough ventilation... Any advice welcome! The plants seem happy and have darkened up some... So maybe I do have enough light? The moss seems happy.... I will need to figure out a watering routine over the next few months... (using RO/DI only) Cant wait for this to grow in!!!

Added a vent and cleaned up the look some... (didn't like having it open) Hoping for some "green house effect" by trapping light for maximum efficiency while having good air circulation... I used two peaces of poly-carbonate to do a sort of "euro style" vent... ..

Update: The vent is working very well, I seem to be getting just the right amount of air as far as I can tell.... I powered up the light to 12 watts of LED.... I am still planing to get the better light eventually... because of the timer and control-ability...

3 Week Update! So far so good! Moss is filling in fast.... I have only watered the terrarium once since the initial wetting. Only use RO/DI water added using a syringe over the moss, avoiding getting the cephalotus wet.... Added approximately a 1/4 cup of water after three weeks, but I may have had a little too much to start..... There has been no accumulation in the bottom but the substrate was decently damp... Lost three pitchers at 1st (turned yellow and then brown) but haven't had and pitcher loss in the last week..... There has been some new growth in the cephalotus and some pitcher turning red..... OH!!! I shelled out for the new light! Its an NICREW skyled plus 11 watt with controller... Much better PAR according to the manufacture.... I love the controller and it was easy to set up! As far as the vent goes.... I still need too open the top a little in this damp spring weather to keep the glass from fogging up too much (foggy glass is the way I judge humidity), unless my floor fan in on..... As always... Any advice welcome and thanks!

UPDATE!!!
Lots of new growth! The moss is close to full coverage and I am getting a bunch of fresh pitchers growing! The new growth is coming in very dark, so the light seems bright enough..... Still watering with RO/DI about a cup/week being careful not to wet the tops.... I recently fed flightless fruit fly that I culture for my frogs.... They seem to love them!
