They look like they're enjoying their new home, nice work with the Ceph too!

They look like they're enjoying their new home, nice work with the Ceph too! Thanks! I've had it almost exactly 1 year. It seems really happy so I haven't touched it Hopefully the German Giant likes the same conditions. I believe it's in a mixture of 2 parts silica sand & 1 part peat.

Nice plants Kell!
You're getting great coloration on all of those.
Used to have a N. albomarginata similar to yours...nicknamed that one my white-collared redneck.

I think pings are becoming my new favourite plant!!! These are getting so much colour so far, the only thing is my gigantea keeps falling over & breaking some of it's leaves off even with supports! Out of all the no id neps I've gotten from bonfield, this one is quickly becoming my favourite... it's been suggested that it may be some sort of dubia hybrid. It had another seedling in it's bundle that had some bright red & very squat pitchers that didn't survive, I'm really hoping the third seedling I found intertwined with the others has the dark red colouration! I've enjoyed seeing what each plant decides to be, every single one has been different for the most part.

Hi Kell27, your mexi-pings are looking healthy and happy, and showing quite a bit of diversity in terms of shape, size and color.
Really like the widened peristome on your Nepenthes pitcher.
Good growing!

My German Giant Cephalotus have finally finished colouring up, they're even darker than my typical. I also came back to the largest pitchers I've ever had from my N. Maxima, the last pitchers are in the background & were only a 2 or 3 inches, I'm really happy with them!

Amazing work with the Cephs and Neps, you've clearly got the conditions nailed to be producing those colours!

I think it's all due to the lights, I haven't been home in over two months & this is how they look with the lights on a timer & being watered for me. Everything looks awesome aside from being a little overgrown or needing some dead stuff pruned off. I don't think they've even had maxsea for at least 4 months!

The heli you gave me is also doing awesome! The growth has been a little slow but it's doing great and getting some nice colours to it.

Great work there Kell!
To second Cole, you've clearly dialed in the details to ensure your CPs are vibrant, healthy and happy.
Good growing!

I went to a plant sale recently in Toronto and managed to get one of these. I was really late browsing the room but they still had some nice looking ping varieties left. This was the only one that I had done some research on that was left in the group & I had it on my wishlist. It's finally starting to get that neat blue/purple colouration that cyclosecta is known for!

That cyclosecta was just waiting there for you, Kell. You're obviously going to the right plant sale(s) to find that one. Under your lighting, it should really color up nicely for you. And they make pretty rounded purple flowers too. dvg

That cyclosecta was just waiting there for you, Kell. I'm glad I got it when I did, a few others swooped in and grabbed the rest! They had a couple of these & some emarginata hybrids left. I've wanted this one for a while due to the amazing colour! I'm about to be out of town for a while again, I look forward to seeing if it's fully coloured up when I get back. It was fully green when I got it a couple weeks ago.
