Once they dip into the water dish, these ren-nel stolons waste no time setting up shop. These ren-nel offshoots share the water dish with what used to be a large thriving Daphnia population, which has taken a hit in its numbers, as of late. dvg

Noticed another growth arising from the dark corner of the ren-nel pot and thought it was another leaf stolon, but upon closer inspection, that first assumption turned out to be in error. It is a new flower stalk instead. dvg

The pot keeps getting turned, because the stalk keeps twisting towards the lights, although its continuous twisting did allow for a closeup shot of its flowerbud cluster. dvg

Looks like the nectar spur has added some color. Don't recall noticing this yellow-purple color patch on the outside of the flower's throat the previous times that this plant flowered. And of course, this flower's face. More to come... dvg
