This is a seed grown offspring resulting from the crossing of a N. truncata "Red Flush (d)" (EP) mother clone with the pollen donor father clone - N. truncata "Reddish Leaves" (AW). This pitcher is now 9-¾" tall. It even has an appendage under the lid that will later have nectar drool suspended from it above the trap opening. A closer peek at it. I had originally pollinated the female that made the seed, which was then sent out in a giveaway. Cole Bonfield was one of the seed recipients, and as a very kind gesture by Cole, he later gifted me with the seed grown clone above. Thanks again bonfield ! dvg

When they're grown from seed, you can never be sure what surprises they'll provide. And such a big tubby pitcher on a very truncated leaf/lamina. Share some more pics of that one as it continues to grow. Just curious what you're currently feeding it. dvg
