The more mature plants in the larger pot are coming along, but aren't anything spectacular. I actually seem to have run into some issues with the smaller plants in the smaller bowl. Many of the plants died back to just a few tiny leaves.
I'm wondering if they perhaps can't tolerate the heat in those bowls as well as the larger plants can. I also opted not to do as much trimming of dead leaves this year partly out of laziness, and partly out of concern for setting off traps unnecessarily because they were in there so densely. Because the bowl shape limits airflow a bit, I can't help but think maybe there was some sort of rot issues that I didn't have last year when I was more diligent about keeping dead material trimmed.
I'm actually thinking I might empty out that bowl, and move those guys into the little bog garden where my "outdoor" Habenaria are, as the flytraps that are already there are the happiest looking traps I have at the moment.
