This rosette has been kept bone dry on a west facing windowsill, and now has its first flowerbud of the spring forming. dvg

Whilst cleaning this rosette's underside of dead leaves, dried roots and any other residual brown or black dead growth, a clump of leaves broke free,and are now being employed as propagation material. dvg

These are the strikes that resulted from the leaf pulls. It seems that this is going to be a propagation year with this species here. Even the mother rosette has plans to split up into more mothers. dvg
