The blush is back in her cheeks again; something about being in the bright lights makes her shine. dvg

A fresh flower from a different one of these clones; so fresh in fact, that the petal dents from its unfurling haven't been fully pounded out yet. dvg

After a couple of hours time, dents now pounded out and rounded out like a new racing fender. Even came with a racing stripe. dvg

Took a bit of a shine to this clone today, with her leaves looking closer to those of her moranensis mother. dvg

That last flower stretched out to just a notch over 1-1/4" across and has more of the moranensis mother influence, although the mother's flowers were much smaller. And another clone's flower just opened, but not fully nor fully stretched out either. dvg

This is what remains of the flower posted here on October 3rd. It was fertilized with pollen from heterophylla, and by all appearances is looking like it wants to bear some seed, but will have to wait and see if anything comes from that attempt. dvg

Hi cao, welcome to the forum. How active is the cp hobby in China? What other carnivorous plants do you grow? How accessible are these plants to enthusiasts in China. Japan has a thriving CP community, and Viet Nam and Thailand have CP vendors, but we hear little of what is happening with the CP hobby in China. Hopefully, you have good access to plants to keep the hobby interesting. Cheers, Doug dvg

Maybe hundreds of thousands? I'm not sure how many people like carnivorous plants, but I'm sure it's not a popular plant. I've planted some of the other varieties. But I'm not a professional.I like Pinguicula best. It is very similar to success plant, but its living habits are very different,It is a magical plant. I know there are several big CP wholesalers in China.Consumers can easily buy plants I recently made a complete indoor planting in the garage and installed led fill lights. Do you have any good suggestions? My English is not good. All my answers are answered by the translator XD.

Hi cao , thankfully, the translate option, though not perfect, does allow communication. I'm using 4' t-8 shop lights, but also have a few led 4' shoplights to try out. How have your lights been working for you? Can you share any pics of your plants or set-up? Also, could you recommend any online CP vendor websites in China? I would love to browse through to see what's available to CP hobbyists in China. Cheers, Doug dvg

One of these clones is still humming along, most of the others are now retreating into dormant bulb sanctuary. dvg

Meanwhile, as this clone prepares its centre rosette for the upcoming restive respite from active growing, her dear old heterophylla father has decided to drop in for a visit - i mean it's no big deal, as he resides closeby, just one pot over. Her apple has fallen so far from daddy's family tree, that some might even question her mama's fidelity... dvg
